Why choose Still Waters Chaplain Services
Statement of purpose
I am committed to supporting a thoughtful and meaningful experience whether in home, in a facility or a group setting. I provide holistic spiritual care for patients and families who are facing end-of-life realities, personal crisis, mentorship needs or team counseling. I understand that spirituality is personal and not limited to one religious tradition. With a broad understanding of many faiths, as well as sensitivity toward those who do not identify with an organized belief system, I offer presence, emotional support, reflective listening, and compassionate guidance. My goal is to provide total care that honors each individual’s story, respects their values, and helps bring comfort, peace, and dignity during every season of life.

Testimonials
Anthony Nunez
Mentee
"Pete has been such an incredible mentor and guide. His wisdom, generosity, and example have made a lasting impact on my life. Hitting this milestone is a testament to the years of insight, growth, and inspiration he has shared with so many. Pete has been a constant source of encouragement in my life. Whenever I doubted myself, he reminded me of my strengths and pushed me to keep going. His words and actions gave me the confidence to take on challenges I never thought I could overcome. I’m truly grateful for the way he has helped me grow and believe in myself.”
Lisa T. O’Neill
Former Client
"My sister Lauren was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, in her 50’s. She was a loving, kind person who was always upbeat and positive. However, after fighting this devastating disease for almost 3 years, Lauren’s faith had taken a toll. When Chaplain Pete came into our lives to help Lauren on her last journey, the change in her was immediate. Chaplain Pete counseled and comforted her and prepared her to go Home to the Lord without fear. Lauren looked forward to his visits and the comfort he provided through his companionship and prayer. Although Lauren couldn’t be saved from this horrible disease, having Chaplain Pete pray with her and prepare her during her final days was comforting for all of us. Grief is different for everyone. Some of us withdraw to hide our anguish, but Chaplain Pete allowed Lauren the outlet to grieve, forgive and look forward to meeting the Lord. We will miss Lauren until the day we can be together again, and we will always be grateful for the comfort and ministry that Chaplain Pete provided to her in her time of need and to all of us that loved her.
